tickets = bought

Yes indeed. I'll be in Madrid for a few days before Italy and I couldn't be more excited to see my friends and everything else I love about that amaaaaazing city. After that I fly into Italy, and then I take a train to the orientation site. Be jealous.
If anyone needs me to pick them up anything while I'm there, they'd better tell me now so that I can pack accordingly. I decided to only take one suitcase, and Ryanair dictates that it be no more than 33 lbs. Could get interesting. Pretty much my makeup and toiletries weigh more than that. Or my shoes.
I'm probably going to end up wearing jeans over leggings and three pairs of socks with the heaviest shoes I'm taking along with a couple of tank tops under a long-sleeved shirt with a short-sleeved shirt layered over it and a cardigan and a couple of jackets over that. If I wear all my clothes then I will have more room for everything else in my suitcase. I think it's a solid plan.
PS: This is going to be the best summer ever. Don't worry about me getting framed for murder by a crooked Italian prosecutor because it's not going to happen! (Well. . . I mean, I guess it could happen- I mean, I'm not going to count it out because I suppose anything is possible but. . . well maybe I should go knock on wood or something.)

It's official. . .

Okay so I know I mentioned a while back a program in Italy that would basically allow me to spend a summer there getting paid to teach English to children. Well, long story short, I applied and was accepted! I'll be back in Europe in early June, and I can not wait! I will hopefully be flying into Madrid and spending a few days there before I go on to Italy, but I haven't bought my tickets yet. I'm so so so so SO excited about this!

How I've been entertaining myself since returning from Europe. . .
